Thoughtful Support for Clinicians and Orgnaizations
Whether you're seeking consultation, supervision, or training, the goal isn't simply to gain more information—it's to think more clearly, navigate complex clinical situations with greater confidence, and continue growing as a clinician. That kind of growth requires more than knowledge alone. It asks clinicians to think carefully about relationships, group dynamics, ethical responsibilities, and the systems in which care takes place.
I offer supervision, consultation, and training for clinicians and organizations seeking a reflective, practical, and relational approach to professional development.
My work draws from more than a decade of experience across university counseling centers, private practice, group psychotherapy leadership, and clinical training. Each service is tailored to the needs of the clinician, team, or organization rather than built around a predetermined curriculum.
Clinical Supervision
Reflective supervision that strengthens clinical judgment, confidence, and professional growth.
Supervision offers space to think more deeply about both the clinical work and your experience as the clinician.
Supervision may include: case conceptualization, relational and group dynamics, cultural considerations, ethical decision-making, professional identity development, and the emotional demands of clinical practice.
My supervisory style is direct, collaborative, and reflective. My goal is to help clinicians strengthen their judgment, recognize patterns shaping the work, and develop greater confidence in their clinical decision-making.
Format: 60-minute online supervision sessions.
Supervision may be especially helpful when you're looking for support with:
Relational or psychodynamic case formulation
Group psychotherapy
Family-of-origin and interpersonal patterns
Cultural and identity considerations
Clinical boundaries and ethical questions
Developing a more grounded professional voice
Clinical Consultation
Focused consultation that helps experienced clinicians think more clearly through complex cases and strengthen clinical decision-making.
Consultation offers space to think collaboratively about complex cases, recurring clinical questions, or areas of practice you'd like to deepen.
Unlike ongoing supervision, consultation can be used periodically or around a specific clinical concern. The work may involve reviewing a case, thinking through treatment direction, examining group dynamics, or considering how the clinician’s own responses may be influencing the therapeutic process.
Consultation is designed for licensed clinicians and is not intended to replace supervision when supervision is required for licensure, employment, or training.
Format: 60-minute online consultation sessions.
Consultation may focus on:
Complex relationship patterns
Treatment impasses
Group development and member dynamics
Therapist reactions and countertransference
Boundary concerns
Practice-related clinical decisions
Integrating relational and skills-based interventions
Group Therapy Training and Program Consultation
Customized consultation and training for counseling centers, practices, and clinicians developing or strengthening group therapy programs.
I offer consultation and training for counseling centers, group practices, and individual clinicians seeking to develop, strengthen, or sustain group therapy services.
Consultation may include: identifying appropriate group offerings, refining screening and preparation processes, strengthening clinician confidence, and thinking through the practical and relational challenges involved in running groups.
My approach draws on experience coordinating group services within university counseling centers, facilitating psychotherapy groups, training clinicians, and developing group programs across both university and private practice settings.
Format: Consultation is tailored to the needs, resources, and stage of development of each program or practice.
Potential topics include:
Building and sustaining a group therapy program
Identifying groups that fit client and practice needs
Group screening and member preparation
Referral, recruitment, and group enrollment
Training clinicians who are new to group therapy
Understanding group development and dynamics
Managing challenging moments in group psychotherapy
Developing group descriptions, structure, and expectations
Integrating skills-based and process-oriented groups
Supporting group facilitators through consultation
Experience That Informs My Work
Much of my professional work has centered on developing group therapy programs, supervising clinicians, teaching, and consulting in group psychotherapy.
My clinical experience includes work across five university counseling centers: University of West Florida, Ball State University, Florida State University, Montclair State University, and Pace University.
I served as Group Coordinator (2020-2023) and Assistant Director (2022-2023) at Pace University, where I developed seminars and group training modules for trainees, expanded the group therapy program, and provided individual and group supervision.
During this time, I also served as President-Elect and President of the New York State Psychological Association's (NYSPA) Division of Group Psychology and Psychotherapy.
From 2022 to 2025, I was a training group facilitator for Process Group Immersion (PGI), a professional development program that prepares clinicians to facilitate and observe interpersonal process groups.
Alongside these roles, I have continued facilitating individual and group psychotherapy in private practice, allowing me to integrate ongoing clinical work into my consultation, supervision, and training.
Together, these experiences inform a relational, practical approach to supervision, consultation, and training that remains grounded in ongoing clinical work.
